Blacks has been the village watering hole since it’s construction in 1937. Rub sholders with farmers, locals, poets, artists, cyclists, shearers and near-do-wells. good as gold.
Blacks Hotel has ten beautifully presented rooms, all with ensuites and each room following a theme with its own identity. The annex rooms all follow the theme of local plants and flowers surrounding Central Otago and New Zealand. We have four twin rooms Kowhai, Lavender, Thyme & Saffron and one double room Manuka. Free WI-FI, Hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities are available in each room. All accommodation bookings receive a free continental breakfast with a range of cereals, toast, spreads and preserves and tea, coffee and water. Blacks also offer bacon & eggs and bacon butty’s at an extra charge.
